I’ve always been active and health conscious- running, biking, practicing yoga and Pilates. However, after the birth of my second child I fell into a rut, so I started coming to Fusion for personal training sessions.  Despite training twice a week and “exercising” on my own over the weekend, I was slowly putting on weight rather than taking it off.  Relying on two-hours-a-week in the gym to solve my problems clearly wasn’t working, so I shifted focus to my diet, but still wasn’t seeing the results I wanted in the mirror.  At the end of last year I was at my all-time heaviest and either needed to buy a new wardrobe or lose weight. Realistically I wasn’t willing to give up anything else diet-wise and – in an “ah-ha” moment – I realized I needed to exercise more.  Since mid-January, I have religiously hit the gym 5 days a week, adding 3 days of cardio to my personal training sessions.  It sounds like a lot of time at the gym, but my cardio days I can knock out in 35 min, which is a small price to pay for results.  Today I am proud to say that I have lost 14 pounds and am back to my pre-baby weight for the first time in 7 years.  And the best news is I can finally wear a bikini again!  YES!!!  Results are earned!!! ”
